Presenting Maurizio Bertoli's expert approach to stone restoration with MB Stone owner Stu Rosen's twist and advances. Stu Rosen worked with Maurizio for several years, and has been heading up MB's contracting operations for quite some time. Stu runs a successful restoration company and still spends much time working in the field. He will share with you the wisdom he has gained over a career of experience as well as the trade secrets that made Maurizio Bertoli's expert approach to stone care world famous. You will also be provided access to technical support at any time. We'll be here to help you if you need us!

Throughout the days of classes dedicated to teaching students the skills needed to get started, Stu will pass on the passion and wisdom that Maurizio shared with so many. The class provides attendees with an unbiased look into stone restoration equipment, tools, diamonds, polishing compounds and accessories. Additionally, the unparalleled MB line of products will be available for purchase.

The entire seminar will span 6 days and is about 95% hands-on. Class will start each day at 9 AM and end when someone cries Uncle.

Lunch will also be provided daily.

Beginning in August, we will be expanding our class to 6 days in order to accommodate the different levels of expertise of our students. The class will be broken up into 4 parts:

Day 1 - For the Novice student, who will need a more thorough introduction to stone restoration and hands-on practice using the tools and machinery needed for the job;

Days 2-5 - For any level student, who will benefit from an introduction, refresher or who just wants to learn more in-depth techniques of stone restoration / refinishing. The portion is considered our core class for all students, novice or advanced; If you are only interested  in counter tops or floors, you may also choose that option only.

      Counter top will be days 2 and 3 - will include chip and crack repair as well

      Floors will be covered on days 4 and 5 - this will cover walls too

Day 6 - For the Advanced student, who wants to dive deeper or maybe just a little refresher. For students who have questions or would like additional hands-on training, opportunities to stay afterwards with the instructors will be available.

Because of the high demand of this training class, it is beneficial to all to break the class in to separate levels, giving everyone the extra time needed to learn all they can. You can sign up for all 6 days or just for the days you need. Discounts will apply to those who are taking all three classes or have been to one of our core classes before. To provide a more conducive learning experience, and to ensure all students have an opportunity to work the equipment, classes will be limited to 10-12 students.  Join us for this one-of-a-kind, interactive training experience.

Stone restoration is not about following static recipes or blocks of instructions. Stone restoration is about thinking on your feet and applying a broad set of fundamental expertise to solve unexpected or previously unseen problems. That is why we believe in a hands-on learning experience for all of our students. A copy of Maurizio Bertoli’s book (the natural stone restoration bible as we refer to it) will be sent out upon enrolling in the core portion of class or any combination of 2 segments. This will give you a great opportunity for some advanced reading. This invaluable resource is included as a part of your tuition. After attending, You will have all access pass to technical support pretty much around the clock. ( Who are we kidding, we'll help you even if you don't come to the class) And are welcome to come back for a free refresher. One of the benefits of becoming part of the family!!

* There will be transportation available from the hotel to the class everyday and lunch will also be provided.

The class and conversation continue as we share dinner together as well. Of course this is optional.
