MB-9 Mold & Mildew Remover
When mold, mildew or bio-film shows up on high-value stone, you can’t take risks with acidic bathroom cleaners or chlorine bleach sprays that etch polished marble or streak granite.
MB-9 Mold & Mildew Remover is the pro-grade, stone-safe gel that contractors keep in every restoration truck. It releases stains on contact, clings to vertical tile, and leaves the surface sanitary - all without scrubbing.
It eliminates mildew stains and odor from natural stone including most polished marbles without damaging surfaces. It cleans mildew stains on contact without scrubbing. Just spray and watch mildew stains disappear within a few minutes! Be sure to rinse thoroughly after each application.
MADE IN THE USA
Why MB-9 Is the Pro’s Choice
Gel Technology That Clings
Liquid cleaners sheet off shower walls, wasting chemistry and streaking grout lines. MB-9’s thicker gel stays exactly where you spray, giving a longer dwell time so you see stains fade in minutes, even on soffits and splash walls.
Safe on High-Value Stone
Tested and widely adopted by stone restoration crews, MB-9 is approved for:
- Engineered stone
- Granite
- Marble (including most polished marbles)
- Limestone & Travertine
- Quartzite & Serpentine
- Terrazzo
Because it is non-acidic, it will not dull polish when used as directed.
Sanitary Finish With No Lingering Odor
Chlorine actives neutralize odor-causing microbes, so showers smell clean—never perfumed—after a single rinse. Regular two-to-four-week maintenance keeps grout joints bright and bio-film from re-colonizing.
Compatible Surfaces & Field Uses
Marble & Limestone Showers
Remove mildew without etching calcite-based stone.
Granite & Quartzite Vanity Backsplashes
Lift black speckled mold at silicone joints while preserving the factory polish.
Engineered Stone & Quartz
Safe for polymer-bound surfaces where acidic products can cloud the resin matrix.
Travertine Floors & Terrazzo Base
Penetrates the open pore structure typical of travertine or cement terrazzo, restoring uniform color.
Tile & Grout in Wet Rooms
Clings to glazed ceramic, porcelain and epoxy or cement grout lines, making it ideal for health-care and hospitality maintenance programs. (Always test a discreet area first.)
How to Use MB-9 on the Job
Preparation
Remove loose soil with a quick rinse and verify stone identification. Ventilate the area and wear appropriate eye/skin protection as outlined in the SDS. Keep the surface dry prior to application to maximize gel contact.
Application
Transfer MB-9 into a chemical-resistant trigger sprayer. Hold the nozzle 6–8 inches from the surface and apply a liberal, even coat. On ceilings or soffits, a low-pressure pump-up sprayer works well.
Dwell & Observation
Watch the stain fade—most light mildew disappears in 2–5 minutes. For heavy, aged colonies allow up to 10 minutes but do not let the gel dry; re-mist as needed. Light agitation with a soft nylon brush accelerates penetration on porous grout.
Rinse & Inspection
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. For food-contact areas, a second rinse is mandatory. Inspect under LED lighting; re-treat only the pockets that remain stained—saving product and labor.
Maintenance Schedule
Recommend clients re-apply every 2–4 weeks, matching occupancy and humidity levels. This habitual cycle prevents spore regrowth and drives predictable re-orders for your maintenance accounts.

FAQs
Will MB-9 dull a high-polish marble shower?
No. MB-9 is non-acidic and specifically formulated for calcium-carbonate stones. Always perform a spot test, but thousands of restorers use it weekly with no loss of gloss.
Can I run it through my proportioning sprayer?
Because it is a ready-to-use gel, pumping through venturi proportioners is not recommended. Decant into trigger or pump-up sprayers for best viscosity.
Does it kill mold or just bleach the stain?
The sodium hypochlorite oxidizes cell walls on contact, so it both eliminates the colony and removes the visible residue, leaving a sanitary surface.
What about silicone caulk joints?
MB-9 clings to vertical silicone seams, but if mold has penetrated beneath clear caulk, mechanical removal and re-caulking may be required after treatment.
Ready for Effortless, Stone-Safe Results?
Whether you manage hotel bathrooms, fabricate stone countertops, or handle post-construction punch work, MB-9 Mold & Mildew Remover delivers professional-level efficiency: spray, watch the stain disappear, rinse, and move on to the next task. Stock quarts for daily service calls, keep gallons on the truck for refills, and consider case quantities if mold remediation is part of your core offering. Your clients will see pristine stone—and you’ll see faster turnaround on every job.
